Want to see what I wanted for Christmas when I was little? My mother found an old letter to Santa of mine and posted it on her blog, Morning Glory Alley.
I wanted that same doll but wound up getting "Velvet," her blond counterpart. WHAT KIND OF A NAME IS THAT??!! She did have a very pretty purple dress, though. My friend (Christine) got Chrissy and drew eye shadow on her with Magic Markers. (Early Bratz, but without the removable feet? LOL!)
Barb - I don't remember the Velvet doll - that is a strange name. And maybe Bratz dolls were inevitable - people were making their own before they were invented!
This is so funny--I got the same doll for Christmas! But I forgot her name until I saw the picture. I adored the doll, but after awhile, figured, since the hair grew, I could cut it and it would grow back.
